Cheers to all the helpers and riders. Glad we managed to get this one on this year, after 2 cancellations. Its all looking good for the club 10s
Lee -
I did consider having a go at the club 10 on a Boris bike, but would fall foul of the no bikes on trains at peak hours rule!
next year though I may rock up on the Brompton and see what goes. Can we have a Brompton category next year, w… -
Hi Matt, apologies for the slow response. I'll ping you a message when I'm free. cheers

Hi Matt,
I'm in the same boat as you, re limited time on weekends. I cant do this Sunday, but drop me your email address/moby no, and we could hook up some time

Ha ha, yes I confirm that Sallie is not my wife :-) and that my actual wife, did know that we were going together!! All looks a bit dodge dunit!! Also, £80 for 3 hours non stop entertainment for four of us, bargain!

I'm finding it hard enough to find time to cycle to the end of my road at the mo!

Hi Skelders, your post has provoked an emotional response in me, jealousy! are you are Troll? :-)
-
well done Geoff. I think we should nominated you for BBC sports personality of the year!
-
I sent you an email Adam. Cracking idea this, it WILL BE a resounding success. happy to help out with whatever.

I think the goal Chris should be to get on the back page of the papers. We've gone from a small section in "sports shorts" to main stream column inches, to photos and equal column inches to the Royston Rockets BMX team in a few short weeks. In the R…

just throwing my two'penneth in here and trying to avoid stoking the hornets nest but do we have an exclusive arrangement with Endura? if not, then is there a problem with individuals sorting out their own kit (in the approved CCA livery of course),…

i'm in. last time I rode this was the Hitchin 25 and had a shocker, so I'll be looking for a big PB!!
L -
Stef, did you actually STOP at a red light in London at night? you rebel you :-)
-
interesting little thead. I've been monitoring my own "perfromances" this year and see what hardware related tweaks do to times. I dont have enough data points to really draw any firm conclusions yet, but in the 4 TT's I've done so far

yes, some things to be learnt from my experience at the Nomad's 25! This was my first 25, so even though my time was rubbish, its a PB. I "blew" at 20 miles and crawled home, despite Jason's effort to encourage me as he flew past.

BOOOM!! GO CCA. looking forward to the front page headlines in the local rags this week!

wahey, fame at last :-) sadly on last nights performance, 20 odd seconds slower than the week before :-( , my fame may be very short lived!!
by the way I've signed up for the Hitchin 25 on 1st june, anyone else doing it

I've used Wiggle for years, never had any problems (obviously now that I've said that, the next time I order something it'll go belly up!!), good delivery, no comment about the return, coz never used it, their prices are good, and dont forget folks …

Yes Chris I live in Royston. So does Jezz R and a few others I think. The Royston rockets get a decent weekly write up, so I wonder if the crow would expand the section to all cycling, not just BMX. We also have some road racers to. and I know of at…

cheers Tim, Anna and Malcolm. note to self, bring some wellies next week, that mud has wrecked me trainers !!!
Lee -
any chance we can get this in the Royston Crow as well?
Lee -
Having ridden for the last 3 years, its about time I helped out!. Carmelo put me down for whatever you need.
Lee -
Cheers Robbie.
Less chain gang, more like chain link!
I went round for one last lap on my own before heading home.
the 7.30 group can probably squeeze in 2 laps before it gets too dark at the mo
Lee -
if you go to Royston Heath, there's a cafe stop at the bottom of the hill :-)
-
oooh, I'm on the look out for a TT bike, not that I've done any this year mind, but hopefully I'll be back next year. Can I come and have a look at it, if you whisper me your details.
cheers
